Hardening our Spiritual Grid
by Elva Thompson
In my recent posts, we have seen how man’s connection to the spiritual worlds has faded over time, and with the withdrawal of his energetic reality, he has become sense-centric. He has forgotten that he is a dweller in two worlds: the physical and its opposite polarity, the spiritual or energetic realm. And, because these are polarities: physical/spiritual, a dynamic tension exists between the two opposites. Therefore, we as a species experience a battle going on outwardly and inwardly and exist in a state of perpetual anxiety and conflict.
The me….
The ego I, the ‘me’, the self, by its very nature is an isolating process and therefore the self can have no real relationship with anybody……
It is alone, separate in its bubble world of individualization. And, because of this separation, this loss of spiritual reality, man has become self absorbed and super concerned with his own self importance. His own self image. He feels if there is no self there is nothing…
…and we are afraid of being nothing, right?
Labeling self
“I am born with a label, and this, or some other label of my own choosing, sticks to me for the rest of my life. I am born and die in one religion, or I change from one religion to another, and I think I have understood reality, God, but I have only perpetuated the conditioned mind, the label.” Krishnamurti
Therefore the self important I…the me, likes to label itself, give itself an image as a christian, or a buddhist, a republican, a democrat, a teacher or scientist. When someone asks us what we do for a living, they are trying to build an image of us, see where we are in our social standing in life compared to them… because to the isolated ego, self promotion and superiority is everything.
The image of self is put together by our thinking and a lot of energy goes into building a certain image for ourselves. Why do we do this?
Because each bubble self is in competition with another’s bubble self…always comparing and competing whether it be physically, intellectually, economically, socially or spiritually. Self needs constant distraction, constant noise because it is afraid of silence because in silence it must face its nothingness.
But beware of delusion. Thought tricks us into saying “I am not isolated. I am the whole.” When nothing could be further from the truth.
Keeping up appearances
And, because we have totally identified ourselves with our bodies, there is a perpetual concern about how other people view us. The I with all of its thought constructed images is a fearful, lonely creature always stressing about appearances: are we too fat or too thin, too tall or too short? We buy new cars, go to the gym, eat fad diets, wear the latest fashions, have teeth and hair implants. Visit beauticians, buy cosmetics and good smelling perfumes. All this sustains our image of self. The ‘me’ that creates all the mischief in the world.
Stormy road ahead
For those of us who are awake, the future for humanity looks bleak indeed. On one hand, we have the spirits of darkness trying to destroy our connection to Source Creator and turn us into trans humans, and on the other hand, we have many natural cosmic cycles repeating. Pole shift, waning magnetosphere, trashed jet streams, increasing cosmic radiation, changing weather patterns and a grand solar minimum in event mode. The elite know that the planet will be unable to support the burgeoning population and so they are deliberately trying to get rid of as many of us as they can…and make money doing it.
Steiner in his treatise Fall of the Spirits of Darkness talks about humanity’s attempts to build theoretically perfect social orders, and the many ongoing divisions, disruptions and hardships that will continue until humanity awakes and takes its divine power back. He states that human beings are totally unaware of fallen spirits, entities who have been cast out of the higher worlds that are intensely active in our present time. These creatures that masquerade as humans have formed powerful groups, and their impulses and desires have manifested in people’s thinking and perception of the world around them.
So how do we proceed against such monsters?
Hardening our spiritual defenses
In this time of coming chaos, we need to develop an awareness of spiritual reality. Pick up the threads and weave the pattern we lost so long ago. Come to the realization that this physical life is a transition stage, and even though part of our essential nature is united with the earth, our true nature belongs in the spiritual worlds. By uniting with spiritual reality, and the energetic essence within the form of all living things, we can develop sacred sympathy for all life, our compassion becomes de-compartmentalized, love flowers and we can begin our journey back to Source.
Love
“So as long as the mind is comparing, there is no love, and the mind is always judging, comparing, weighing, looking to find out where the weakness is. So where there is comparison, there is no love.” ― Jiddu Krishnamurti, On Love and Loneliness
The word love is bandied about today like the word fuck. It has become corrupted, misused and made into an ugly thing. For instance how many times have we heard the following:”I love my husband but he runs around with other women so I am divorcing him.” OR “I love my God and I will torture and kill anyone who doesn’t believe in my God.” OR “I love animals” as we shove their dead bodies down our throats.
The word Love summons an image and many are addicted to the word. We often say ‘love’ when what we really mean is lust. We often say ‘love’ when in truth what we perceive as love is an addiction, a sterile, co-dependency relationship with another person whose serves as the object of our need for security.
Love cannot be cultivated. It is very sacred. Not the word but the content, the depth and beauty and feeling of all pervasiveness loveness. But we have lost all reverence for the word. I hear people say I love everything, when in reality it’s just another mind fuck of I’s thinking.
Where love is-the self is not. When the self dissolves at death, love remains. It is the only power that can dissipate all the walls and the barriers that we as a species have built around us through out time.
It is time for our spiritual reality to flower in the sun of cosmic consciousness.
Until next time, stay in love with life.
