Our extended family of ceremonial and sundance singers – Wakan Hoye Yapi
In my last article (Spirit Helpers)), we talked about elemental spirits, and how they can protect us from floods, fires, tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, land slides, hail, volcanic blasts etc, and the violent extremes of the elements they control.
Today, I would like to talk a little bit about destiny, and how spiritual reality can ‘set us up’ and change the direction of our lives.
In 1985, I was doing an animal rights talk in Winchester, a wealthy rural town in Hampshire UK. The talk was about ‘man’s relationship with the animal kingdom’. When I got to the subject of bloodsports, I got heckled from a few hunters in the audience. I can’t recall what I said but it destroyed their arguments in a stroke. After the presentation was over a woman approached me. It was Eileen Caddy, one of the founders of the Findhorn garden. She told me that while I was having a go at the hunters, she saw a Red Indian standing behind me, and that I soon would be leaving England for America.
To be honest, I blew it off. It sounded so preposterous and unlikely. I had no intentions of leaving my island, so it couldn’t possibly be true.
Famous last words
Within two years, my life in England fell apart, and I was living in a shack with no running water or electricity on Rosebud Indian Reservation.
I found myself rushed by spiritual reality into a whole different culture and perspective. It was as if something had taken over my life, and the sequence of events that brought me to the reservation were so bizarre as to defy reality.
It was about this time in my life that I questioned free will.
The shack I lived in was the original allotment of Tall Mandan, the shaman’s shaman. His name appeared on the 1868 treaty more than any other chief, and he was a great friend and confidant of Sitting Bull the famous orator and holy man of the Hunkpapa Lakota. A few miles up the road from us is an old sign that still points to Sitting Bull’s road to Cherry Creek.
The land here is very special and filled with memory.
The photograph at the top of the page is our group of singers, Wakan Hoye Yapi. My husband Harold is sitting in front. He is a Hoka Wicasa – a singing man, and a pejuta wicasa – herbal doctor, a sundance Chief and a ‘night cult’ intercessor. When we got married in 1987, he was singing for the powerful medicine man Norbert Running. As I attended all the ceremonies, Lorenzo Eagle Road, one of the last great spirit callers on our rez took me under his wing. He taught me the sacred language – the phonetics and pronunciation of elemental reality, and how to sing Indian.
Lorenzo told me before he died that he was very sad for his Indian people. He said “They go to the hill, they fast and sing and pray. But the spirits, they don’t come no more. Tunkashila(Grandfather in spiritual way) has swept the hills clean of power with his wings.” He started to cry and so did I. I prayed about what he had said… and spiritual reality stepped in with the answer.
A matter of sound
In the nineties, our group, Wakan Hoye Yapi – Sending sacred voices were singing at a sundance in Texas. The rounds were long, it was the third day and by the afternoon our voices were shot with only the lowest base tones left. One of the singers croaked out an old sundance song, and as we struggled to follow his lead our voices came back as strong as the first morning. It was an incredible experience, and it took me many years to find out how in the ‘face of no voice we had all voice.’
Standard A tuning 440 hz
In 1953, the satanic elite decided to change standard A tuning from 432hz to 440hz. It became the standard frequency for tuning all instruments based on the chromatic scale. So, anyone who learned music after 1953 would sing doh- ray -me – fa- so-la- ti -doh in 440hz.
The sounds of 440hz resonate on our sense bound animal frequency. It does not resonate on the heart chakra,(fourth dimensional awareness), and the Skan fields, the five bands of energy that moves that which moves.
It is interesting to note that A 440hz was introduced by Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi minister of propaganda.
When we pray in European language, and sing in 440hz, the dead-end below the belt sound that goes nowhere, the spirits attached to the elemental powers cannot hear us. This is why nowadays a lot of people get nothing but delusion from the hill.
Tunkashila never left…… only the sonic keys to the kingdom were removed. The old sun dance song was sonic and connected us to the infinite music of the spheres… Skan the moving power that moves that which moves.
Personally, I think the elite destroyed aboriginal sonic language, and changed heart based musical tuning deliberately. They wanted to cut us off from spiritual re-connection to Source, and block our ascension time line. We have to find another way to contact spiritual reality which I will talk about next time round.
Deniers of spiritual reality
The sense bound machine mind will always try to rationalise or minimalise precognition and second sight, and ridicule spirituality reality that does not fit in with their programming… and that’s alright! But once we experience the other side of reality – the active side of infinity, we see synchronicity and a meaning to everything that happens in our lives. https://www.heartstarbooks.com/return-of-the-warrior/
We started our sundance in 2001, and after my experience with sonic sound in Texas, I listened to myself singing and how it made me feel. Through observation of self and the dance, I learned which sundance songs were resonant or sonic as I call them, and what songs were energetically lifeless. Those orally transmitted before the change in the musical scale would put the dancers in a state of prayer, shift their awareness patterns, while new songs or songs that were sung in 440hz put the dancers back into 3D…tired, hot and thirsty!
I did a sonic repatterning course which I talk about in my article ‘Symphony of Self’, and had tuning forks made in the scale of A standard tuning 444hz. When I sing for rain, or earth spirits, whatever sacred nation I want to say thank you to, I use tuning forks set to Solfeggio tones to resonate on the elemental realms, I am trying to connect with.
For some reason I have better connection with elemental reality using 444hz than 432hz.
Stepping out of duality
Stepping into the active side of infinity needs love, absolute commitment with no strings attached, for the ego-centric and power mad individuals it is a very dangerous place.
I was student of Krishnamurti for many years, and visited him at his school in Petersfield, Hampshire. I would listen to him for hours and I thought I understood what he was saying. It took a long road with a lot of crooked bends to make me realise that I hadn’t understood at all.
Much love to you all, and I hope you found this article helpful.
Truth is truth, one, alone; it has no sides, no paths; all paths do not lead to truth. There is no path to truth, it must come to you. Truth can come to you only when your mind and heart are simple, clear, and there is love in your heart; not if your heart is filled with the things of the mind. When there is love in your heart, you do not talk about organizing for brotherhood; you do not talk about belief, you do not talk about division or the powers that create division, you need not seek reconciliation. Then you are a simple human being without a label, without a country. This means that you must strip yourself of all those things and allow truth to come into being; and it can only come when the mind is empty, when the mind ceases to create. Then it will come without your invitation. Then it will come as swiftly as the wind and unbeknown. It comes obscurely, not when you are watching, wanting. It is there as sudden as sunlight, as pure as the night; but to receive it, the heart must be full and the mind empty.
