The Big Reveal – Life’s Lost Purpose

Are you asking for it, as I was asking for it?

I needed to find my life’s lost purpose. I had, for as long as I can remember, a deep yearning to find for myself the ‘missing bits’ that haunted my life, and left me feeling lacking in something which felt essential to my well-being.

Same as with those ‘phantom limb’ pains I’ve heard about, in that, even though a body part may be lost, the pain of what was once there remains, I knew I was incomplete.

We are all more than what we have been taught to believe we are. Born with limitless potential, our lives can be made into anything our imagination dreams is possible.

I am presently living a life far beyond what I was ‘told’ is possible, beyond the stresses and fears of the everyday and more like the dreams I had as a young lad. Sure, I still have aches and pains, worries and feelings of lacking something, but I also know that I have the innate ability and power to figure my way out and through all of these challenges.

We are the treasure we seek in life, however only we alone can claim it.

Help always seemed available when I needed it most. I had but to ask and it would show up. Often mysteriously, sometimes taking longer than I liked, but always it was there to give me a leg up so I could figure things out for myself.

Freedom is Calling You. Freedom is calling all of us to discover life’s lost purpose. But of course, one must ask first to hear it best. The big reveal is the answer to the question posed. Dare to ask yourself: What is my life’s lost purpose?

How you discover that purpose is up to you, up to each of us and our predilections. For me it’s poetry, these videos I make with and for others, watercolours, my bizarre sense of humour, gardening and simply walking down the street, laughing beyond the daily grind, while my friends join me and we all look to the world with gratitude wondering how it was even possible to become so lucky.
